Swingset Mulch Does Kiddie Kushion Mulch Attract Insects(ants, Etc)?

Does kiddie Kushion Mulch attract insects(ants, etc)? - swingset mulch

I run a home learning center or nursery. I'm redoing the patio of my house and around the swing, I would like to make it easier and safer for children. Our gardener has Kushion mulch proposed for children. I searched but found nothing of whether it attracts insects (in particular) ants or not. If someone information that can help me has to know! Thank you!
